The Board of Directors consists of five members, elected by the homeowners at the Annual Meeting. Each member serves a three-year term, though the initial terms of three board members were limited to set up a staggered schedule. When a board member resigns, that slot can be filled at the next annual meeting, or by appointment by the rest of the board, but in either case that person will only serve until that slot would next have come up for election. At the first board meeting after the Annual Meeting, the Board determines who will serve as officers for the coming year.
